If you are looking for dog friendly cottages Eastbourne, Coachman's Cottage provides charming yet contemporary living. It is close to Brighton University campus and the schools of Moira House, Bedes or St Andrews Schools.

The quaint cottage is set back from the road up a private, gravel driveway, in a tranquil location within easy walk of Meads Village.  The high street is full of quaint shops and cafes and the convenience of a post office and small supermarkets.

Completely refurbished internally, with brand new kitchen and bathroom, this two bedroom serviced cottage provides high quality accommodation. It proves an ideal base for those in need of short term living, with all bills and services included.

With an open plan lounge kitchen diner downstairs, there is a nice spacious feel. Natural light pours in from the French doors and the muted colours throughout also help create a relaxing vibe.

The lounge area has two sofas in front of the large TV and Blu-Ray DVD player. The dining area has chairs and table for four people, with relaxing views out onto the terrace.

The immaculate kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, toaster, kettle and microwave and all the utensils you'll need for full self-catering.

There is a spacious master bedroom with a double bed and triple wardrobe. The second bedroom has twin beds, making this an ideal base for families or colleagues working locally. The spotless, modern family bathroom has a bath with shower over.

The outside terrace, which is shared with neighbouring cottages, is a prime spot for al fresco dining, with table and chairs also provided.

All linen and towels are provided, with extra linen supplied for stays of more than a week. Free Wifi is provided and there is also off-street, allocated parking available on the private driveway.

Eastbourne town centre is an easy 15-minute stroll away, with the train station having direct links to London, Brighton, Hastings and Lewes.

The cottage may also take small, well behaved dogs if kept on the ground floor (please enquire for details).

"Nice area with good views all round"
Apartment light and airy with the advantage of not having too much direct sunlight. Parking in the Road which is not overcrowded with cars. Car necessary to shop for provisions either in Meads shops or central Eastbourne. Very residential surroundings - no shops. Not too far from Holywell retreat worth visiting early morning when full of sunlight. Calm area with panoramic view. Close to Beach Head by car. Going in the other direction down the hill you arrive very quickly in the theatre area of Eastbourne and the western seafront.

Great Agency, so helpful. Accommodation, light bright , spacious. Central to walk everywhere. The dog and I had a wonderful stay. My husband came at weekends. The only criticism perhaps supply larger towels. All mod cons flat has been recently updated. Well worth a visit.

Relaxing cottage in a peaceful area.
We were met by a very pleasant lady who ensured that everything was set up correctly and that we had all we needed.
Clean, light & airy accommodation in a quiet neighbourhood. 15min walk into town, but there is a bus stop outside the drive and the buses are very regular.
We didn't use the car at all as the railway station & the centre of the town are on the bus route.
The Towner gallery and several restaurants are close by - about 10-15 mins walk.
Parking on the street is free and plenty of spaces. There is a parking space in the drive, but is quite tight for a large car - although we managed it.
We' d be happy to stay there again.

The perfect place for a relaxing family break.
This immaculately renovated cottage is a lovely place to stay. With windows on three sides, the main living area is bright and spacious and the perfect space for a family to congregate to cook, eat and relax.
The location is quiet yet within easy reach of the town, the beach and the Meads village shops. We loved it.

Carl and Sarah were fantastic hosts and coachmans cottage is a beautiful home from home. The kitchen in particular is perfect for longer stays as it is fully equipped so allows for cooking etc. The bedroom has black out blinds as well which allows for a great nights sleep! I would highly recommend this as a lovely holiday option, as the location is perfectly close to the sea and meades village.

Superb property.
Excellent property, decorated to a good standard. It is well situated for the beach and town centre. We would definitely stay at the property again.

This property accepts pets only with prior approval (surcharge applies).   Smoking is not permitted.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Sunday to Sunday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit.   To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival.  For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time.  Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes.  If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

Dogs are considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a supplement will apply.   Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them.   Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone.  They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you.  You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / sandy paws before entering the cottage

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence.   It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes.   Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside.   Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
