Duke's self catering apartment is perfectly located on Chiswick Place - right in the heart of the restaurants and attractions of Eastbourne, and just two minutes walk from the pebble-filled beach.

This 4*, gold-rated self catering apartment is set over the third and fourth floors of a grand Victorian house – so stairs are involved.

Family friendly self catering apartment

The open-plan living space on the entry floor of this self catering apartment includes a comfortable seating area, with flatscreen TV, DVD player and an iPod docking station - plus WiFi naturally.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, microwave, hob and oven, plus a good selection of cooking utensils, and the dining table seats four.

A twin bedroom is also located on this floor, and then internal stairs lead up to the eaves, where you will find a huge master bedroom and spacious bathroom.  A day bed in the master bedroom can be set up to accommodate a family of five (or we can provide a cot).

The indulgent bathroom is an oasis for relaxation after a busy day, with a double jacuzzi bath, underfloor heating and plenty of fluffy towels. Bath robes are also provided for adults, plus beach towels in the summer.

This self catering apartment is just five minutes walk from the train station, with direct links to London Victoria, Brighton, Bexhill and Lewes.  If you are driving, parking permits are available for £1 per day (Sundays free).

This property does not accept pets.   Smoking is not permitted.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit.   To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival.  For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.

Sofabed usage – please let us know on booking if you wish to use the sofabed, so we can ensure it is made up for your arrival. There is a £75 supplement (no extra charge if for under 14s).

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time.  Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave.  If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence.   It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes.   Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside.   Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
