Fisherman's Drift is set in a prime position directly overlooking Eastbourne seafront and the iconic Pier, making it an ideal base for couples or individuals looking for South Coast holidays.

This first floor apartment has one bedroom with a kingsize bed and glorious water views, and the bathroom has a bath with shower over so you can indulge in a long soak after a day's exploring.

The cosy lounge benefits from the same great views as the bedroom and there is a Smart TV in front of the comfy leather sofa, plus a dining table to seat two.

Down a few internal stairs, you’ll find the kitchen which is fully kitted out for self-catered stays with a fridge freezer, microwave, oven, hob and washing machine to take care of any laundry requirements.

WiFi is provided, plus linen and regular towels (please pack your beach towels). Parking is roadside and permits are available for £2 per vehicle per day, however a car is far from essential given the location of this Eastbourne short stay apartment.

The promenade is one of the town's main attractions, stretching for five miles with the bustling Sovereign Harbour area at the eastern end and Holywell at the other. Along the way you'll find the beautiful Carpet Gardens, Wish Tower and Bandstand where you can catch a variety of live music and tribute bands.

The Devonshire Quarter is ideal for those looking to sample the town's cultural scene, incorporating three theatres as well as the award-winning Towner Gallery with its contemporary displays and independent cinema. It is also home to the world-renowned tennis courts which play host to the international pre-Wimbledon tournament each year.

The apartment is also perfectly placed to visit other delightful spots along the South Coast, including the charming village of Pevensey Bay (check out the castle and 31-mile 1066 countryside walk) , the traditional seaside town of Bexhill and the up-and-coming St Leonards and Hastings area, with its trendy feel and selection of quirky independent shops and cafes lining the cobbled streets of the Old Town.

I loved my time at Fisherman’s Drift. The flat was beautifully clean with lots of quirky ocean themed touches. The views were so lovely that I set my alarm to catch sunrises from the warmth and comfort of my bed. I expected it to be noisy considering it’s situation but I was pleasantly surprised as the sounds from outside were muffled. Carl & Sarah thought of everything and there was even a big box of books to explore. They were really accommodating - I’ll definitely be back!

Smoking is not permitted in this property. No pets permitted. Minimum age of lead guest 25+ and this is an adults only property.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
