This self catering apartment is one of our highest quality short term rentals Sussex.  Set within private gated grounds in the north Sovereign Harbour, it benefits from a large private terrace that looks over the inner quay of the marina, a perfect place to calmly sit and gather your thoughts.

Its Sovereign Harbour location has the added benefit of the very popular 'Waterfront' restaurant and retail park. A short walk along the marina promenade and you will reach its delicious restaurants, cafes and bars. There is also a further walk-through that takes you onto the retail park, here you will find a Cineworld (cinema), Asda (supermarket), Boots (chemist), gym and other retail shops.

For people travelling to Eastbourne on business, this property is a short 10 minute drive into Eastbourne town centre, there are also regular buses for those that don't drive. Bexhill is a 15 minute drive in the other direction with Hastings and Battle just beyond.

As you arrive and drive through the private gates you are immediately welcomed by wonderful greenery. Head along to your own underground allocated parking, from here there is lift access up to the property.

The property is wonderfully contemporary in its design with modern and unique features throughout. Notably there is a feature brick wall in the open plan living/dining as well as visible steel beams throughout.

There is a modern, fully equipped kitchen that includes an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, washer dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle and an array of cooking utensils.

The master bedroom consists of a king-sized bed a walk through wardrobe that then leads into the ensuite shower room. The is a second bedroom with two full sized single beds and a further family bathroom in this temporary accommodation.

The living area has two leather chairs and a matching two seater settee. There is also a flat screen TV a DVD player and a dining table that comfortably sits four.

Linen and regular towels are provided for short lets (bring your own beach towels).  For guests staying longer than a week we will supply a second set. There is also free WiFi throughout the property and secure under ground parking with lift access.

"Comfortable accommodation close to harbour restaurants, nice view. The apartment was very well appointed, clean, comfortable and spacious with excellent terrace. Good view of the marina, easy to walk to harbour central area and a short drive from most of the main amenities. We enjoyed our second stay here very much and hope to return. Good welcome on arrival and we were given full information about the facilities."

"Very comfortable, well equipped. Lovely quiet apartment & well furnished, within a nice setting, no need to use a car as shopping at Asda & walking all on the doorstep, really liked walking along the promenade to Eastbourne. I don’t think the underground garage is suitable for a large car, but this didn’t prove to be a problem as we parked outside. Apartment is a credit to the owners."

Perfect location
We had a great stay at this lovely apartment. It was nice decorated, felt very relaxing and comfortable. Close to restaurants and supermarket.. Very nice area and great view over the harbour. We would definitely book this apartment again.

"5 star vacation rental in Sovereign Harbour."
Over the years I have rented many vacation rentals and this was by far the best. Sea Salt has two nice bedrooms one of which opens on to the large deck. The lounge also opens onto the deck making the flat very spacious.
The location is wonderful as you look out into the sail boats. I think overall I was most impressed with the staff at Exclusively Eastbourne whose response time to any problem was immediate and they made sure issue was resolved.

Sehr schöner Urlaub in Eastbourne
Sehr schöne Wohnung in einer ruhigen Hafenanlage von Eastbourne.
Die Kommunikation und Einweisung mit der Vermittlung war perfekt.
Die Wohnung ist super für eine Familie da zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder vorhanden sind.
Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub und können die Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen.

Lovely harbourside apartment
Booked through Exclusively Eastbourne. Carl and Sarah were very helpful during a difficult time for us and it was a relief to find the sanctuary of this comfortable apartment in a quiet location overlooking Sovereign Harbour.

Lovely apartment with super views.
This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Sovereign Harbour in the last two months and love the area.
Stayed in Sea Salt apartment which was home from home it had everything you could ask for.
Would definitely stay again.
Booked through Exclusively Eastbourne who were very helpful and efficient.
The area has the sea on one side and the harbour with its boats and yachts on the other so plenty going on.
There are several really good restaurants and places for just coffee called The Waterfront which is just a short walk away.
Pevensey Bay is just a short drive away.

Just what we needed!
We were so pleased to find the property was really clean on arrival.
We were able to have a drink on the terrace and soak in the beautiful view of the harbour straightaway.
It was really peaceful and quiet and yet only a short walk away from cafés and restaurants.

A wonderful stay.
Our apartment was perfect close to shops restaurants' and cafe's but also set in a very quite area we enjoyed our stay very much and we without doubt we hope to stay there again very soon we would recommend a stay at sea salt

This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday, with availability from Easter through to October half term holiday.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) per week booked and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival.  For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave.  If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence.   It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside.   Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
