Super stylish, practical and in a wonderful location - this East Sussex Airbnb has it all.

Seaside Breaks is set right on Meads high street, meaning you can enjoy the tranquil village-feel whilst also having plenty of amenities right on your doorstep. There are two pubs serving up great British fare, a wine shop, independent cafes, a Tesco Express and a Co-op.

The South Downs National Park is easily accessible with countless clifftop walks and views to take your breath away. The iconic Seven Sisters Cliffs and Beachy Head Lighthouse are must-sees for anyone visiting Eastbourne, plus it's worth venturing slightly more inland to saunter around the idyllic villages of Alfriston, East Dean and Friston.

Airbnb self catering accommodation offers extra space, independence and flexibility when compared to a hotel or bed and breakfast. Who will accept the confines of a hotel room once you get used to the scale and facilities of a fully equipped and furnished house or apartment?

East Sussex is packed with places to go and visit - Brighton is 35 minutes away from Eastbourne on a direct train, Lewes just 20 minutes and London Victoria just over an hour and a half or try the old school charm of St Leonards and Hastings. Ashford International is also an easy train away and the ports of Newhaven and Dover are also in easy reach.

For historic sites in East Sussex, take in Pevensey Castle just along the coast or head inland to Battle Abbey and the scene of the pivotal battle between William and the incumbent King Harold in 1066. Bodium Caste is also only about 45 minutes from Eastbourne.

Head to the Eastbourne seafront at the end of your road for some traditional seaside fun including rock-pooling at Holywell and fossil-hunting below Beachy Head, picnic in the Italian Gardens, stroll along the Western Lawns and tuck into fish and chips on Eastbourne's historic Pier and ice cream from Fusciardi's if you've still got room for something sweet!

At the eastern end of the promenade is the bustling Sovereign Harbour area with a selection of great restaurants overlooking the marina, plus a retail park including an Asda, TK Maxx and Boots.

The beach is safe for swimming all along the promenade and sand is exposed at low tide making this a great place for to take a dip in the sea. There are beach huts and cafes as you wander along.

Luxurious East Sussex Airbnb

Seaside Breaks is a split-level maisonette set over the first and second floors with its own private entrance on the ground floor. Beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout, this East Sussex Airbnb truly has the wow factor from the moment you step inside.

The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with everything you could wish for during a self-catered break. There is a large range cooker and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. You'll also find a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier in the handy utility area tacked onto the kitchen.

The dining area has a table seating up to eight and leads out onto the roof terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee in peace.

In the living room there are two large sofas and a sumptuous armchair to sink into after a long day spent exploring Eastbourne. There is a Smart TV mounted on the wall so you can access the usual streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime (don't forget your login details).

One of the bathrooms is on the first floor too, with a lovely deep bath if you fancy an indulgent soak.

Upstairs on the second floor you'll find three bedrooms a separate cloakroom and the other bathroom (which has the added flexibility of both a bath and walk-in shower).

The master bedroom has a superking size bed, then there's a four-poster kingsize in the second bedroom and bunk beds in the third making this short let apartment ideal for families and friends.

There's no need to leave your four-legged family member at home either as a small-to-medium sized adult dog will be considered (please contact us to discuss, £50 supplement applies).

Free WiFi is provided, as well as all linen and regular towels (please bring your own beach towels). Additional linen is supplied for stays of two weeks or more.

Parking is restricted in some areas of Meads and we can provide parking permits (subject to availability) for just £2 vehicle per day which allow you to park directly outside and across much of the Meads. There is also free roadside parking a few minutes away.

There are stairs involved to reach the apartment and between the first and second floors so please note this accommodation is not suitable for those who need easy access.

Excellent.
We have stayed in many hotels & B & Bs both in the UK and around the world and this was one of the best. Everything was to a very high standard and we didn't have a single problem, criticism or complaint during our stay. We are familiar with the area so knew what to expect and look forward to staying here again.

Second visit and hopefully not the last - Excellent.
This is our second visit to this property and hopefully it won'e our last.
Everything is to a high standard and the little extra details are a bonus. I wrote a glowing review last year and my opinion this time is exactly the same.

Lovely family stay in Meads Village, Eastbourne.
We stayed - 2 adults, 11 yr old girl, 9 yr old boys + a dog - for a week and it was just lovely. The apartment is so spacious and comfortable - everyone had their own space to chill out. The beds were really comfy, kitchen well-equipped etc., but the little touches made the experience feel so special - a few chocs, basics in the fridge, laundry tablets to do a quick wash - all very much appreciated. The Co-op was literally 10m away, so it was easy to pop out for anything we needed, and the nearby restaurants (and wine shop!) were lovely. We will definitely stay again.
