The Retreat offers luxury self catering Eastbourne set in the heart of Meads village.  This beautiful apartment has been stylishly interior designed and boasts a delightful private garden.

If you are in town on business or need to be able to work remotely, then the comfortable living space is ideal.  The dining table and chairs by huge bay windows overlook the garden and offer a tranquil location to get stuck into some work.

Meads is one of, if not the most, popular parts of town as it provides easy access to the beach, the South Downs and Eastbourne town centre.  While within easy reach of many great facilities, including a pay-as-you-go gym on the same street, this apartment offers a quieter stay than central options and so proves to be a firm favourite for those looking to temporarily reside in a peaceful place.

Meads has its own little village parade with various shops, quaint delis and quintessentially British pubs with amazing menus. Meads also has two grocery stores so you can stock up on essential items for your stay.

This stylish apartment can sleep up to four guests in two bedrooms and also benefits from off road parking which is great when you are arriving with a lot of stuff.

With WiFi throughout the apartment and a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, hob and even a Nespresso coffee machine to keep you energised, you will never need to leave.

The apartment is set within an impressive Edwardian building and provides a spacious feel with high ceilings. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second room is a double.

The family bathroom is modern in design and has both a bath and separate walk in shower, a great option for those who enjoy the comfort of both or anyone with limited mobility.

The large living area is a great space for unwinding with a sofa that sinks you in and a foot rest to set you up for an evening of comfort. There is a big Smart TV where you can access various apps like YouTube, Netflix, BBC iPlayer and much more (individual subscriptions required).

All linen and towels are included in this luxury self catering Eastbourne, and for stays of two weeks or more, weekly cleaning will be provided.  Given the luxurious nature of this property, we try to limit sticky fingers - well behaved children age eight and over are welcomed.

A clean, tidy and stylish space. Carl and Sarah were always super responsive and we really enjoyed our stay. Couldn't beat the location: close to the beach and the South Downs!

Beautiful apartment in a lovely location.
The Retreat is a lovely apartment in an upmarket area of Eastbourne, fully equipped with everything you would ever need for a holiday in the UK. All of the rooms are furnished to a very high standard and the private walled garden is a huge bonus

Very comfortable, very clean.
Elegant but quirky, high spec. decoration.
Well equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen.
It was lovely to sit in the peaceful garden area and the onsite parking or easy parking in the street was a bonus. Thank you.

Premium apartment, superbly located.
The Retreat was very definitely a premium apartment, beautifully furnished and with the added bonus of a private garden It was in a very quiet location and yet only 5 mins walk to the nearest beach, (pebble) and only 15 mins or so walk to Eastbourne, with its splendid pier and array of restaurants Beachy Head is also just a few minutes in the car
All in all, a first class place to stay for a couple and we plan to visit again

We had a great stay in The Retreat.
The flat is absolutely beautiful, immaculately presented, and very very clean.
The lounge is smaller than it looks in the photos, but that was fine for the three of us staying there... It was cozy :)
The outdoor area is very pretty and is a lovely, private place to have a G&T when the weather is kind.
We would definitely recommend it and would love to stay again if we're ever back in Eastbourne.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Retreat - the flat was beautifully furnished and clean throughout.
We were very impressed with the variety of utensils and equipment in the kitchen.
The beds are extremely comfortable and the outside space was a bonus.
It is close to shops, pubs and only a five minute drive to the seafront.
We would have no hesitation in booking another holiday at the Retreat.

The flat is really well furnished with a great eye for style and detail. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We also loved the little garden. The nearby supermarkets are incredibly handy and it’s only a 20 minute walk to the town. If you like running, you are only five minutes from the foot of the South Downs Way which climbs directly to Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters. Otherwise you can run the length of the seafront.

This is a lovely apartment, with all the facilities you need for a great stay in Eastbourne.
The location was also perfect for using as a base to visit all Sussex has to offer.
We would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to visit Eastbourne.

Made a fine holiday in Eastbourne.
Plenty of space in the apartment, seats outside, five minute walk to shops & cafes, ten to the seafront and twenty into town.
The decor is bold - a bonus for a week's stay!

Children over eight years old are welcome. This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or building.

There is a week-long minimum stay in peak season, with bookings running from Saturday-to-Saturday, although short stays and flexible arrival days may be possible last minute and out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable holding deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
