A beautiful family friendly house with swimming pool (open in warmer months only) in Old Town Eastbourne. It boasts wonderful views over, Eastbourne and the Royal Eastbourne Golf course. Offering fabulous space for up to eight people in four large bedrooms.

Set in the Old Town area, a short walk from Waitrose, the historic 12th century Lamb Inn, Motcombe swimming baths and Eastbourne's town centre, Fairways is in a prime location for families in need of a short term rental in Eastbourne.

The house has a private garden and is overlooking the start of the South Downs and provides easy access to wooded walks or blissful clifftop hikes.  This pleasant, tranquil area provides a safe and pleasant location, with easy access to amenities.

There are wonderful views over the garden and golf course to the South Downs beyond from the huge windows which run across the rear of the house, including a huge dining lounge and separate kitchen.

The dining table easily seats eight and looks out at the amazing views. There’s a large L-shaped sofa and extra comfy seating that is also the perfect vantage point to enjoy the scenery. Or you can step out on to the balcony, which overlooks the swimming pool and garden.  A TV and DVD player are also available if you can tear yourself away from the view.

The separate kitchen is well equipped for self catering with fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and a breakfast table. A utility room houses a washing machine and there’s a toilet/cloakroom on this level for easy access.

Step downstairs and there is a second sitting room, with an extra TV and games provided.

The master bedroom has a super kingsize bed and an entire wall of fitted wardrobes. The second and third bedrooms are also large with fitted wardrobes. One has a super kingsize bed, while the other is a twin. The fourth, smaller twin bedroom is reserved for children – so the house can sleep six adults and two children.

The main bathroom has a bath and a separate walk in shower, plus there is also a second shower room.

WiFi is provided, and parking for two cars is available on the driveway. All linen and towels are provided, together with enough milk, tea and coffee for welcome drinks.

Buses run regularly to Eastbourne town centre, Seaford and Brighton from just round the corner from this family friendly holiday accommodation in Old Town Eastbourne.

The train station with direct links to London Victoria, Gatwick Airport, Brighton, Lewes and Hastings is around a 15 minute walk, making this furnished house for rent ideal for commuters.

Parents with children should please be aware of the potential hazards before booking – as well as the swimming pool and the laburnum tree in the garden, the staircase within the property is an original 1970s ‘ranch style’ design, with horizontal wooden planks (see photos in gallery). Parents are able to close doors to the hallway to prevent small children reaching this stairway without them knowing.

Superior Holiday Home in Eastbourne. This wonderful, spacious holiday home left nothing to the imagination. The children loved the private pool and the adults loved the chef's kitchen that overlooked the golf course. We found the rooms full of charm and ultra clean. We all agreed that the location was breathtaking (especially the twinkling of the stars and Eastbourne by night). There were plenty of places to hide and the children agreed too!!!!If you are looking for a 'celebrity' house for the summer then this is the one for you.

Very beautiful home with a great view and light.
We really enjoyed our stay.
The house is really bright, well decorated and very clean. The bedrooms are all good sizes.
The host were very helpful and friendly.
The location is perfect to visit all sites.
We hope to come back one day.

Perfect in every way! Fairways is a stunning home. We loved every moment of our stay and we're sad to leave. The lush gardens and the view beyond of the golf course and downs were captivating and every effort was made to ensure our comfort. Our grandchildren loved the swimming pool and the toys and games so thoughtfully provided were an unexpected treat. We are grateful to Sarah for all that she did to accommodate us after a long trip and for her kindness and support.

A great property with super views .......the house is well equipped and very comfortable. Would recommend for a truly relaxing break. The property management also proved to be particularly efficient and ensured everything ran smoothly.. Would be happy to return at a future date

"Amazing view"
This house is wonderful, with a fantastic view from the lounge window. You never get tired of looking at it. The house is situated in a very nice area, with lovely properties surrounding it. It is very nicely furnished with everything you need. The pool was very good even though we only had a couple of days weatherwise to use it. It is heated which does help. There are some lovely walks from the property and you can be on Eastbourne seafront after about 20 minutes walk. The buses and trains are very frequent for getting around. We only used the car once in 10 days, and that was to visit the very pretty village of Alfriston. I can highly recommend this property

Welcomed on arrival and given a tour of house. The house is very spacious, clean and well equipped. The view from the lounge over the golf course is stunning. The pool is great, we all spent lots of time in there, lots of pool toys and inflatables.

Absolutely stunning house and pool, amazing views. Probably one of the best equipped houses we have ever stayed in, had everything you could need. We had a lovely relaxing family holiday and hope to return in the future.

Beautiful property, so spacious.
This wonderful property is situated overlooking the Royal Eastbourne Golf course, and also across Eastbourne to the sea.
The South Downs rise above the golf course, making it a relaxing view.
We spent many hours just sitting either in the lounge or on the balcony just soaking up this view.
The pool was great, very clean and warm.
The house is so spacious and comfortably housed our extended family without us feeling at all cramped.
It is very well equipped and although close to Eastbourne Old Town is really quiet.
We hope to revisit in the future.

Even more lovely inside than photos! Amazing views across golf course. Twin rooms were adequate size. Well equipped kitchen and loads of space. 7 adults and child had plenty of space. Minor issues quickly resolved by agent.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

The house is strictly no smoking and parties are not permitted. Guests must respect the pool rules (see full terms and conditions) and children must be supervised at all times, as there is a laburnum tree in the grounds (plant/fruit are poisonous) and a steep stairway internally.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £500 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit. The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.

Photo identification (e.g passport, driving license) and proof of address of lead guest must be provided. These can be scanned versions at time of booking, with original documents to be presented at check in.
