Looking for a Hastings Airbnb that's only a stone's throw from the beach? St Leonards Lookout might just be the perfect place for your seaside getaway.

This third floor apartment is set right on Warrior Square with stunning views overlooking the gardens and out to sea. The promenade is literally seconds away and is perfect for summer strolls (with fish and chips along the way of course!), plus there are miles of pebble beaches for dips in the sea.

St Leonards and Hastings offer a variety of local attractions from Heist, the trendy indoor street market, to the Country Park for scenic walks along the coastline and the iconic Victorian Pier for some traditional seaside fun.

There's also the charming Old Town area of Hastings where you'll find an eclectic mix of quirky shops and independent eateries lining the history-rich streets.

The flat has great transport links and is no more than a five minute walk from the train station with easy access to Eastbourne, Brighton, Gatwick Airport, London Victoria and Ashford International. Free parking is also available on parts of Warrior Square and other nearby streets if you're coming by car.

This short let apartment has been tastefully decorated throughout and has high ceilings and large windows to maximise the light, spacious feel.

The lounge has a large, comfortable sofa in front of the Smart TV and a dining table seating up to four.

The stylish kitchen boasts the same great views as the lounge and is well-equipped with everything you could need for a self-catered stay. There's an oven, ceramic hob, compact fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and a good selection of cooking equipment and utensils.

There's a double bed in the bedroom and the spotless bathroom has a bath with shower over.

Free WiFi is provided, as well as all linen and regular towels (please bring your own beach towels). Additional linen is supplied for stays of two weeks or more.

There is no lift to reach the apartment so stairs are involved, but the views make it well worth the climb!

Excellent flat, excellent value.
Excellent location, overlooking the sea and the stairs are more than worth it for the view.
5 minutes to rail station and bus stop across the road with links to Eastbourne and Brighton.
Flat is a good size and very comfortable and well equipped and a fantastic location for exploring the local area.
A decent hotel room was more expensive and this really feels like a proper home from home and I will definitely be booking again for next year once it becomes available

I've lived here for over two weeks and I love it very much. The house was very homely furnished. The living room has a big TV and a dining table. You can enjoy the ocean view and sunset while eating here. The landlord has thoughtfully prepared a manual, which includes the use of some furniture and appliances and recommendations of tourist attractions and restaurants. The kitchen is so full of utensils that you can even bake in it. The bathroom is big. West Hill and East Hill are within half an hour's walk. It is also only a five-minute walk from the railway station.

Renting this place is seriously one of the best decision I have made in my life, the location, the view, the place, everything was perfect for an excellent short stay in England. There are so many nice places to go to around the flat, do not miss Heist where you can drink excellent beer and wine and eat many delicious things!

What a fantastic find Hastings was! We had a fabulous time and this place made it easy to get to all of it. The view from the window is breathtaking, and you really do see the whole beach. The stairs are real, so if you're not fit or have mobility issues, I would not recommend. Besides that, this place is gold.

One to definitely Lookout for!
If you're looking to have a proper seaside experience in St Leonards, then you would struggle to beat The Lookout. For someone travelling by themselves or a couple wanting to be literally overlooking the beach and yet still be minutes from town, shops and the station, it's fantastic. A highly recommended great holiday flat! (The lettings management are brilliant too - prompt, alert to any questions and a pleasure to deal with.)

Smoking is not permitted in this property. No pets permitted. Minimum age of lead guest 25+.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Friday to Friday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
