Family-friendly holiday lets in Eastbourne

Beach in Reach provides an ideal base for those looking for spacious, family-friendly holiday lets in Eastbourne. Seconds from the beach and tastefully refurbished throughout, this six-bedroom Victorian villa comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests, making it perfect for larger family gatherings or colleagues sharing.

On the ground floor, there is a large living space laid out in two areas. The front sitting area has two large sofas in front of a Smart TV with access to all of the usual channels and streaming services (don't forget your log in details), whilst at the rear is the dining area with table to seat at least eight and a further table seating four (plus an extra Smart TV!).

Head a few steps down the hallway and you'll find the kitchen, well-equipped with a full range gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer and microwave, plus a further table to seat six. Leading off from the kitchen is a handy cloakroom as well as access onto the private rear patio and allocated parking spaces.

On the first (middle) floor there is the family bathroom with bath and shower over, as well as two double rooms both with ensuite. The largest bedroom is at the front with a superking bed and stunning sea views, plus for those with young children there is a day bed and a sofabed, each with a £100 supplement per stay, making it possible to sleep a family of four. There is also access to the balcony from this room (children must be supervised).

On the top floor, there are a further three bedrooms – two set up as twins and a king at the front with sea views and an ensuite.

There is outdoor space at the front and back of the property, both with a table and chairs, so you can bask in the sun at any time of day!

As with all of our holiday lets in Eastbourne, free WiFi, towels and linen are all provided, and there is a drive for two vehicles at the rear of the property and further free roadside parking on the surrounding roads. A car is far from essential though, given the prime central location and regular bus services running along both Royal Parade and Seaside.

Whilst the seafront is the obvious draw with its miles of clean beaches and iconic landmarks along the way including the Pier and the Bandstand, Eastbourne's town centre is just a five minute drive away or a 20 minute walk. There are a number of attractions including four theatres (Devonshire Park, Congress, Winter Gardens and Hippodrome) and the Towner Gallery which hosted the Turner Prize in 2023, plus a Cineworld cinema in the Beacon Centre.

An abundance of shops await those in need of a spot of retail therapy, as well as countless pubs, cafes and restaurants to grab a bite to eat. Or for a change of scene, why not head slightly further out of town for an invigorating ramble across the South Downs, passing through the quintessentially British villages of Alfriston, East Dean and Friston along the way.

Had a great Easter break with three generations of family. Spotless house for everyone to enjoy and in great location. Kitchen equipment rather lacking but Carl responded very quickly to my request for basics and brought them round within the hour.

Smoking and pets are not permitted in this property. Minimum age of lead guest 30+. No loud parties, stag or hen groups.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Friday to Friday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £500 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £400 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
