East Sussex self catering seconds from seafront

Sea Downs has everything you could wish for from East Sussex self catering accommodation. It is in a prime location with Eastbourne seafront literally at the end of the road and the town centre just a few minutes' walk in the other direction.

Central Eastbourne is home to an abundance of shops in both the Beacon Centre and the Enterprise Centre, as well as countless great restaurants, pubs and cafes. For the theatre lovers amongst us, you'll also find the Congress, Devonshire Park Theatre and Winter Gardens close by, with a variety of shows to take in all year round.

For those who prefer the great outdoors, the South Downs National Park is a must-visit with its miles of rolling hills and iconic sights including Beachy Head Lighthouse, Birling Gap, Cuckmere River and the Seven Sisters.

This apartment is set on the first floor (no lift) and has two bedrooms, each with superking beds which can be split into singles if preferred, making for flexible accommodation suitable for families, friends or colleagues.

The kitchen is well-equipped and has a hob, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave and all of the utensils and pots and pans you could need for a self catered stay. There is a table and chairs to eat your meals, plus a washer dryer to take care of any laundry needs.  The living area has plenty of comfortable seating to relax in front of the smart TV (don't forget your log in details) and a dining table.

There is also a private balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee (or an evening glass of wine!),

The spotless bathroom has a bath and shower over.

Free WiFi is available, as in all of our East Sussex self catering properties, and linen and regular towels are provided (bring your own beach towels).

Parking is available on the surrounding roads and permits can be bought from us for just £2 per vehicle per day.

Lovely Sea Downs
We had a great stay at Sea Downs. It's a lovely newly renovated apartment in a great location. Right in the centre of everything near a great gallery, cafes and restaurants and most importantly right by the beach. Perfect for a little Eastbourne retreat. The beds are super comfy and huge! And the kitchen facilities are carefully thought out so you have everything you need. We stayed as two couples and the flat worked perfectly, hopefully we'll be back again :)

Brilliant stay.
We had a brilliant stay at Sea Downs. Amazing location for the beach, town and restaurants, lots of nearby parking and really big, comfy beds. It’s newly renovated with everything we needed and it was great to see a focus on reducing single use plastic. It’s a really good size and we enjoyed being able to have a glass of wine on the balcony. It was perfect for what we needed and we’ll definitely be back.

Minimum age of lead guest 25+. Smoking, parties and pets are not permitted.

There is a week-long minimum stay in peak season and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday, although flexible arrival days and short stays may be possible out of season and last minute.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
