This short term rental is extremely central, situated just off the seafront in the popular theatre section of town - moments from the cafes, restaurants and shops, and just five minutes walk from Eastbourne train station. Devonshire Park Tennis grounds are just around the corner.

High ceilings and excellent natural light from attractive sash windows provide an airy feel within this Victorian villa and the quality of finish has secured a 4* Gold grading from Visit Britain.

The modern, open-plan living space is stylishly appointed for both comfort and practicality. There is a fully-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge freezer, microwave oven and hob, making this an easy choice for self catering Eastbourne accommodation.

The dining lounge has a Smart TV, DVD player, iPod docking station and plenty of comfortable seating, plus a good sized dining table with chairs for up to six people.

Four people can be comfortably accommodated in the two bedrooms - one double and one twin.  For a family of five, a camp bed or travel cot can be provided (supplement may apply).

The bathroom, with underfloor heating, jacuzzi bath with shower over, and fluffy towels, offers an opportunity for indulgence and escape.

We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 4 it was so lovely. Very comfortable; beautifully laid out apartment, within minutes of the sea. Owner very helpful. Great little unexpected luxuries, like chocolates and fizz in fridge on arrival! Definitely would book to stay here again

The flat is on the first floor of a Victorian-style town house. It is nice and clean so you have to treat it like your own home.
It is located near the city centre of an old and beautiful town.

"She Thought of everything"

Anyone that's traveled with little ones knows how trying it can be, so we were pleasantly surprised at how easy our stay was. Angela, the homeowner, thought of everything - from setting up a cozy cot for our daughter to having toys waiting for her when we arrived at Cavendish (she squealed when she saw them!).
She also had a binder complete with information we needed to know about the apartment & area highlights, which made our stay that much easier. Also the location can't be beat, just about 2 blocks from the seafront.
If I had a complaint it would be the uncomfortable sofa - but other than that, we loved our stay

A++ Accommodation. Our family stayed for a week in Cavendish apartment and we felt like being home right from the first day. i mean the apartment had all the amenities a family with children needs, to the last detail.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in Chiswick Place. It was like a home from home. Kitchen is very well equipped and the apartment location is very central.

It was a great time in the apartment. It was better than we thought it wil be. The pictures on the site are good, but when we came there it was better! A good place to have a vacation with the kids.

Great location 2min to the beach with street parking available with shops and restos close by. Very well equipped kitchen incl. dishwasher and a little starter pack with essentials. Nice and bright apartment with comfy beds. We loved our stay.

This property does not accept pets.   Smoking is not permitted.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit.   To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival.  For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.

Sofabed usage – please let us know on booking if you wish to use the sofabed, so we can ensure it is made up for your arrival. There is a £75 supplement (no extra charge if for under 14s).

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time.  Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave.  If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence.   It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes.   Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside.   Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
