Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the genteel Meads area of Eastbourne, this 2-bed house sleeps up to four people across two bedrooms. The master has a kingsize bed and plenty of storage with built-in wardrobes and a separate chest of drawers. The second bedroom is set up as a twin.
The spotless bathroom completes this floor with a bath with shower over.
Downstairs, you’ll find a comfortable lounge with a smart TV offering the usual TV channels as well as internet apps such as Netflix (don't forget your log-in details).
The kitchen diner is well equipped with a fridge freezer, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, plus a dining table to seat six. The patio doors lead out onto the private south-facing garden with outdoor seating - perfect for a spot of al fresco dining during those warm summer evenings.
There is free roadside parking nearby and free WiFi is provided along with linen and regular towels. The house is situated in a very peaceful street, so please be aware that parties are not permitted.
The Meads area is a highly sought-after part of Eastbourne, with its village-feel yet close proximity to local amenities and glories of the South Downs National Park. The high street has a handy Tesco, Co-op and places to eat including the Black Cat Café, The Ship Inn and The Pilot Inn. It's also the perfect base for parents visiting their children at the nearby private schools including Bedes, St Andrew's and Eastbourne College.
Central Eastbourne is also within easy reach (around 15 minutes on foot or a quick five minute drive) where you can enjoy a spot of retail therapy in the Beacon Centre as well as the lovely independent businesses in the Little Chelsea area. The town centre is also home to four theatres including the Congress and Devonshire Park.
Eastbourne also has great transport links with regular train services to Brighton, Lewes, Hastings, London and Gatwick Airport.

Nous avons passé un excellent sejour d'une semaine dans cette maison très confortable et située dans le plus beau quartier residentiel d'Eastbourne. Nous étions 3 adultes et un jeune adolescent et il y avait de la place pour chacun: dans le salon, la cuisine et la terrasse. La maison est très bien equipée avec du materiel de qualité. Tout est facile. L'endroit est très calme et situé près des larges falaises de Beachy head. C'est splendide ! Il y a quelques commerces, un pub et un salon de thé très sympas tout près. Un arrêt de bus se situe juste à côté pour aller en bord de mer. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
We had an excellent week's stay in this very comfortable house located in the most beautiful residential area of ??Eastbourne. We were 3 adults and a young teenager and there was room for everyone: in the living room, the kitchen and the terrace. The house is very well equipped with quality materials. Everything is easy. The place is very quiet and located near the wide cliffs of Beachy head. It's splendid ! There are some very nice shops, a pub and a tearoom nearby. A bus stop is located right next to go to the seaside. We will come back with pleasure.

Smoking is not permitted in this property. No pets permitted. Minimum age of lead guest 25+.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
