Picture sunlight pouring into this bright two-bedroom apartment, with plenty of room for families or small groups.
Set on the top (second) floor of an imposing period property, with just two other residential flats in the building, this apartment is the perfect base for those looking for a peaceful getaway. Please note there’s no lift, so guests should be comfortable with climbing a few stairs.
The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a day bed suitable for children, while the second bedroom offers two single beds - ideal for up to five guests (maximum of four adults). It’s ideal for friends seeking a relaxing coastal escape, theatre-goers visiting the Devonshire Quarter, or anyone wanting to explore the independent shops, galleries and cafés of Little Chelsea, Eastbourne.
The spacious living room includes a large sofa, two armchairs, and a smart TV—perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring the local area. The dining table has a lovely outlook over the gardens below.
The fully refurbished, modern kitchen is equipped for easy self-catering, offering a fridge-freezer, hob, double oven, grill, dishwasher, kettle, washing machine, plus the added bonuses of an air fryer and Nespresso coffee machine (bring your favourite pods!).
The sunny breakfast table seats five and provides an inviting spot to plan the day or look back on your adventures. It also works well as a makeshift desk if you need to catch up on some emails.
The immaculate bathroom is filled with natural light and features a walk-in shower with a rainforest-style overhead shower for a luxurious soak, plus a handheld attachment for added flexibility.
All linen and standard towels are supplied (please bring your own beach towels), with extra linen provided for stays of two weeks or more. There is free WiFi and one off-street parking space for a small-to-medium sized car (plus free on street parking if required).
Eastbourne train station is just a 15-minute walk away, offering direct services to London Victoria, Gatwick Airport, Brighton and Ashford International.
Located in a prime spot in Lower Meads, all of Eastbourne's main attractions are within easy reach, including the iconic Pier, the Bandstand and the theatres.
Stroll along the seafront toward Sovereign Harbour, then further east to Pevensey Bay, Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings, where we also offer other East Sussex Airbnbs.

Minimum age of lead guest 25+. Smoking, pets and parties are not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
