Nestled on a quiet street at the foot of the South Downs National Park, this newly-refurbished South Downs Airbnb is the perfect base for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
Situated in a highly sought-after area of Eastbourne, you'll be just a short stroll from Meads Village high street with its selection eateries to sample after a long ramble up on the hills. There's also a handy Tesco Express to top up on the essentials.
This immaculate, adults-only studio is well placed for all the delights of the South Downs, which lies just over the headland including the villages of East Dean, Alfriston, Willingdon and Friston.
There are many walks easily accessible, including up to Beachy Head and along the Seven Sisters cliff tops, Belle Tout lighthouse and Birling Gap (don't miss the cakes at the National Trust cafe). Head a half mile inland for lunch at The Tiger Inn in East Dean, along the Cuckmere Haven and into the forest at Friston.
South Downs Airbnb in Eastbourne
This South Downs Airbnb has been thoughtfully designed to maximise space and light, with large windows and patio doors to give it an airy feel. There is a spacious superking size bed to sleep up to two adults with a comfortable sofa to relax in front of the Smart TV where you can access the usual streaming services such as Netflix and BBC iPlayer.
Leading off from the open-plan living area is a pristine shower room with walk-in shower.
The contemporary kitchen is fitted with plenty of facilities for a self-catered stay, including a two-ring induction hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer. There’s also the added luxury of a Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother.
The adults-only studio has its own private entrance plus free on street parking.
Free WiFi is provided, as well as all linen and regular towels (please bring your own beach towels). Additional linen is supplied for stays of two weeks or more. Please be aware there is CCTV/Ring cameras at the entrance to the Studio for security purposes.

A pleasant stay in Eastbourne.
We moved to Eastbourne from Australia. and needed accommodation for 1 month to settle in the city. We booked with the Studio (for a month) via Exclusively Eastbourne. Given time difference, the booking was handled seamlessly. The Studio is located in a tranquil and safe area in Meads. The area is scenic and beautiful. As new arrivals we had to apply for bank accounts, secure long-term accommodation, etc. However we needed to have address proof to proceed with mentioned tasks. The owners of the Studio accommodated our needs as they allowed us to use their home address as address proof and collected postal mail for us. They were very helpful during our transition period to Eastbourne. The Studio is clean and has all necessary amenities. The TV is equipped with many choices for entertainment. We were able to get to town and Meads village by foot. We tried to find long-term accommodation in the area but unfortunately none were available. It was a pleasant stay for us.
My daughter and I had such a wonderful stay for a week. The area is very nice and quiet, yet very convenient. Lovely room with lots of space and well equipped. Personally I was really happy to have a Nespresso machine in the room. (I am a coffee lover! ) Carl and Sarah were very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and hope to come back here again!

Beautiful accommodation with sufficient of utilities. Very comfortable. Lovely landlords. In an amazing neighborhood.
Smoking is not permitted in this property. No pets permitted. Adults only – minimum age of lead guest 25+.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
