South Downs Garden Cottage provides perfect Sussex self catering accommodation for up to four guests - beautifully presented throughout yet practical and fully equipped for a short term let.

This Victorian terrace has been tastefully restored to the highest quality standard. It oozes with natural light, complemented by the muted colour palette to create an oasis of calm to return to after a busy day exploring all that Eastbourne has to offer.

On the ground floor is the lounge with a comfortable sofa and armchair in front of the smart TV which has access to the usual Freeview channels and internet apps (don't forget your log-in details).

The kitchen-diner is fully kitted out for a self catered stay, boasting wooden worktops, an oven-grill, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and all the usual utensils. There is a dining table seating four people plus French doors leading out onto the private garden terrace (complete with outdoor furniture).

Just off the kitchen, there is also a handy shower room with walk-in shower.

Head upstairs to find two bedrooms - one with a spcious superking bed and the other with a double. There is another bathroom on this floor (which also has a walk in shower).

WiFi is included so ideal for those working from home, plus linen and regular towels, with a second set provided for stays of two weeks or more (bring your own beach towels). We can also provide weekly cleaning - please contact us to arrange. Parking is on street and we can provide permits for just £2 per vehicle per day.

Meads high street is literally at the end of the road, where you will find a whole host of local amenities including Tesco Express, a Co-Op (with a Post Office), The Black Cat Cafe and The Ship and The Pilot which are two great local pubs.

The South Downs National Park is just minutes away where you can take in some of the area's most unmissable sights, including the iconic Beachy Head Lighthouse, Belle Tout and the Seven Sisters Cliffs.

Central Eastbourne is also within easy reach either by bus, car or why not take the scenic route on foot and stroll along the promenade from Holywell down to the Pier (stopping for an ice cream pit stop along the way of course!).

There are also great, regular transport links should you fancy venturing slightly further afield to Bexhill, Hastings, Brighton or London Victoria.
