The Hideaway is a beautifully presented furnished flat set on the first floor of a large Victorian building with many of Eastbourne's main attractions within easy reach.

The town centre is just a five minute stroll away where you'll find the Beacon shopping centre with all the usual high street brands, plus the charming Little Chelsea area with its selection of independent eateries and boutiques.

This adults-only apartment is also located in a prime spot for those coming to watch the world-renowned international tennis tournament which is held every summer at the Devonshire Park courts. This area of Eastbourne is also home to three of the town's theatres where you can catch a vast selection of performances from West End musicals to stand up comedy.

The accommodation has a double bedroom, with adjacent bathroom with a bath and shower over.

The open plan living area has a comfortable sofa, a Smart TV and a digital radio/CD player.  There is a dining table to seat two that overlooks the garden.

The kitchen is fully equipped for a self catered stay with a fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, a selection of cooking utensils and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine.

Given that this Eastbourne furnished flat is only around a five minute walk from the train station, a car is far from essential but if you are driving, parking permits are available for £2 per vehicle per day (free on Sundays).

Free WiFi is provided, as well as all linen and regular towels (please bring your own beach towels if you fancy a dip in the sea). Additional linen is supplied for stays of two weeks or longer.

The apartment is well placed to access the South Downs National Park which is an absolute must-visit with its miles of rolling hills and and beautiful clifftop walking trails. Take in some of the most iconic sights including the Seven Sisters, Beachy Head Lighthouse and Birling Gap.

Head east along the seafront and you'll find the tranquil village of Pevensey Bay, steeped in history with its strong Norman influence and delightful 1066 country walk.

We enjoyed a great week at this comfortable apartment. We enjoyed the close proximity to the ocean and to the main pedestrian shopping district.

Smoking is not permitted in this property. No pets permitted. Minimum age of lead guest 25+.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Sunday to Sunday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
